It’s raining, it’s pouring… But that’s fortunately not a problem in Rotterdam, since there’s plenty of fun things to do in the city. This page offers a few tips for ways to stay dry.
 

Attractions

Many of Rotterdam’s attractions are covered or indoors, so they’re a great way to spend a rainy day. View the city from the top of the Euromast Tower, or dive into the world of international shipping with the Port Experience. Train-lovers can have the time of their lives at the country’s biggest model railway in Railz Miniworld. Or visit the Kijk-kubus Museum House and see for yourself what it would be like to live inside a tilted cube. Prefer to spend some time working off your aggression? Museums

One of the fun things about much of the world’s best art is that it is on display indoors. Welcome to one of Rotterdam’s many museums! Whether you visit the Kunsthal, Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, the Nederlands Fotomuseum or the World Arts Museum, you’re sure to forget the wet weather in no time.

Entertainment

Shopping

Even if it’s raining, shopping is a great way to spend the day. The shops in the centre of Rotterdam are located conveniently close to each other, making it easy to move from one to the next. If you prefer shopping indoors, the Zuidplein or Alexandrium shopping centres are the place to be.
