Day of Architecture: 24Hofpoort
One day turns into 24 hours!
The theme of this year’s Day of Architecture is 24 hour Architecture. In Rotterdam we are programming this theme literary: the iconic building de Hofpoort ( located on Het Hofplein) will be the Centre for one whole evening, night and day which makes it a 24hour festival.

Not too long ago The Hofplein area was known as the vibrant heart of Rotterdam. During this year’s Day of Architecture we will let it vibrate ones more. The collaboration between ZUS Architecten , Rotterdam Archiguides and AIR, the Architecture Centre of Rotterdam has resulted in a program in which de Hofpoort will be transformed from a vacant building into a vertical city for 24 hours. In 24Hofpoort visitors will be able to eat, drink, dance, relax, sleep, discover, dream, meet, roll, create, shop and so much more: in other words enjoy 24 unique hours!
