Delfshaven was built in the early 1400s as a port for the city of Delft. This is where Piet Hein was born, where the Pilgrim Fathers spent the night before sailing for the New World, and where millions of litres of gin were once produced.
Museum Rotterdam De Dubbelde Palmboom
Museum De Dubbelde Palmboom, a former warehouse, is located in the heart of historic Delfshaven. The museum shows the story of Rotterdam's residents of yesterday and today. The varied programming makes it ideal for children and groups.
