De Matroos en het Meisje is a table d’hotes restaurant, which means that you eat whatever the chef has on offer. The menu changes regularly and is inspired by what the market and the season have to offer. Where possible, sustainable products are chosen. The only choice you have to make is the number of courses, 3 or 6, with an optional matching wine arrangement.
The restaurant is located in a cosy corner building on the Deliplein in Katendrecht and is boldly, but tastefully decorated with Delft Blue on the walls and the well-known checkered tea towels as napkins. The boldness and style are reflected in the dishes in a surprising and tasty way.
