Stork looks for its food here
The park was built as early as 1929, directly opposite Diergaarde Blijdorp along the Vroesenlaan. The stork that breeds at Blijdorp Zoo comes here every morning to look for food. The Vroesenpark has large lawns where you can run and play endlessly. You will also find playground equipment and a fishing pond.
Rotterdammers like to gather here with blankets, picnic baskets and barbecues. Or they can sit down in the Vroesen Pavilion for a snack and a drink. In the summer, festivals are regularly held in the Vroesenpark, such as Duizel in the Park.
