Action & Adventure in Rotterdam

Action & Adventure in Rotterdam

Adventurers beware! Never too fast, too big, too high and too active enough for you, then we have the perfect day out.

Climb, Sail, taste and experience Rotterdam

To ensure that not the whole day is one big adrenalin rush, we have fitted in some relax moments and places. Because a day like this not only gives you a lot of energy, but also costs a lot of energy, we will show you some places where you can have a delicious dinner and a good drink. As a perfect end, we propose an overnight stay at the nhow in De Rotterdam so you go to sleep with that WOW feeling!

Arrival at Rotterdam CS.

10.00 – 12.30

Take tram 8 to the Euromast, the highest observation tower in the Netherlands. Enjoy the view from a hundred metres high, and then abseil down or take the zipline.

12.30 – 13.00

Take the water taxi to the Merwe-Vierhaven area, an untamed stretch of port currently being transformed by designers and artists into a hotbed of creativity.

13.00 – 15.00

Lunch and a tour of Uit Je Eigen Stad, Rotterdam’s urban farm. See, feel and taste where the food on your plate comes from!

15.00 – 15.30

Take tram 8 from Marconiplein to Parkkade.

15.30 – 16.30

Feel like an adrenalin rush? Take the RIB Experience boat and speed across the Maas River at 100 kmph.

16.30 – 17.30

There are lots of fun restaurants around the Deliplein square. Feel like Thai at Deli Bird? Pizza at Bleij? Or a prime slab of quality roast at CEO Baas van het Vlees?

Drinking beer and talking is all you really need in life. That’s the philosophy at De Ouwehoer, a cosy, chatty café where the history of old Katendrecht comes to life again.

Spend the night at nhow in De Rotterdam, one of the city’s newest and boldest buildings. Tip: the Sunset rooms offer a fantastic view of the Maas and the skyline!
