Van Nelle Factory
Renovated complex
All facilities for employees had to be available in the ingenious building and the building had to be completely above ground to create light, air and space. Tobacco was still made in the Van Nelle factory well into the 1990s. The complex was renovated and redesigned in 2000. Since then, it has hosted a variety of media and design companies and 12 rooms can be used for meetings, conferences and events for up to 7,000 people.
