Light up the long winter evening with a unique after-hours boat tour that takes you past Maasvlakte 2’s new, cutting-edge terminals. The dazzling displays lighting up Rotterdam’s port area have earned it a new nickname: the largest Christmas tree in the Netherlands. Board the FutureLand Ferry and feast your eyes on the exciting interplay of dark and light and countless sparkling lights on the water. Meanwhile, an experienced guide will tell you fun facts about everything you see as you pass by – as well as things that remain hidden in the shade.
During the trip, you can enjoy a tasty meal prepared by restaurant New Fork. The meat option is chicken satay, salmon lasagne if you prefer fish, and pasta al funghi for those who would like a vegetarian meal. The meals cost € 8.95 p.p. Please indicate during your reservation whether you would like to have a meal on board the boat and if so, which option. If you aren’t interested in a full meal but start feeling peckish during the tour, you can also purchase rolls, salads and soup on board the Ferry.
At 5 p.m., the FutureLand Ferry will be casting off for a sparkling tour of lights. The round trip lasts around 90 minutes. The boat tour costs € 11.95 p.p. (adults) and € 7.95 for children aged 2-11. Admission is free for children under 2.
Please note: FutureLand will be closed when you return from the boat tour. The FutureLand Ferry has sanitary facilities on board.
