The Danish artist Michael Kvium (1955) is known for his figurative imagery in which he shows the existential themes of being human. With the circus as a metaphor of our time Kvium exposes the absurdities in our society. The exhibition offers a wide range of new works consisting of paintings, films, sculptures and installations.
This exhibition features works from the 1950s to the present that are rarely shown because of their enormous size. The highly varied selection will include ‘Driftwood Circle’ by Richard Long, Notung by Anselm Kiefer and D’red Dwarf, B’lack Hole by Jim Shaw.
