consists of two men, a woman and a child (representing the past, present and future). The resistance monument is a tribute to the people of Rotterdam who sacrificed their lives for the liberation of the country during World War II.
Rotterdam Pride started in 2014 and will this year (2016) have its third edition. The festival's objective is to have a party for sexual diversity for everyone. The organisation wishes to bridge between the LGBT group and the heterosexual society. To this aim it offers an event of festivities and cultural expressions during the last week-end in September.
