The Bilderberg Parkhotel is in the Museumkwartier district adjacent to Museumpark. It opened its doors in 1922 in a beautiful villa on the Westersingel road. The building had a modernistic garden-extension added in the 1950s. An eight-storey tower was built between 1980 and 1984 and a second 45-metre-high tower was added in 1992. The hotel’s ground floor was thoroughly renovated in 2014. A new restaurant, meeting centre, lobby bar and Cigar Lounge were created. Their design is modern but pays its respects to older traditions.
The hotel has 189 bedrooms with free Wi-Fi. The balconies of the Classic rooms have views of the park. The higher-end Deluxe and Executive tower rooms look out over Rotterdam’s city centre.
There are also eight function rooms, the largest of which can hold a maximum of 80 people when set up as a theatre.
The Bilderberg Parkhotel is just an eight-minute walk from Rotterdam Central Station. Eendrachtsplein metro station and tram stop are next to the building. Paid parking is available in the hotel’s garage. If that is full, the Westblaak and Museumpark car parks are just a few minutes’ walk away.
