
Dertien, on Schiedamse Vest, surprises his guests with new menu selections every day. The interior is industrial, heavy on the wood. The rear wall behind the bar is dominated by a huge type case with the day’s menu. A central fixture in the restaurant is the charcoal oven in which many of the dishes are made.
On the menu, you’ll find heirloom vegetables, meat and fish, always the freshest organic products from Dertien’s local network.
Dertien can seat 90, and also offers group packages for both lunch and dinner. Groups of 13 or more will be seated in a private section of the restaurant.
