The Down Under restaurant is part of the Mainporthotel Rotterdam, a luxury five-star design hotel opened in 2013. Flavours of all eight continents can be enjoyed together with the Australian cuisine served in the Down Under restaurant. The menu includes dishes from all over the world, from East to West, from sashimi to Argentinian steak. The restaurant can hold up to 250 people and can host private dinners.
The hotel is in the Maritime District on the border of the Witte de Withkwartier and Scheepvaartkwartier districts. Leuvehaven metro station is right outside and just a five-minute ride from Rotterdam Central Station. There is also a jetty for the water taxi. The capacity of the valet parking is limited but there are two indoor car parks within walking distance.
