People who insist on quality bread made from the purest ingredients know that Jordy’s Bakery is the place. Their artisanal sourdough bread is made with only what bread needs – including Jordy’s own sourdough starter, which makes the bread just a touch less bitter than other sourdoughs.
You can learn all about the products in the shop on Nieuwe Binnenweg. Jordy’s Bakery also has tables for breakfast and lunch, so you can stay in and sample the cold and grilled sandwiches from the menu. Jordy’s Bakery has a small patio where you can enjoy a quiet cup of coffee. It’s also fun to watch the bakers working in the patisserie making Jordy’s sweet treats.
Second shop
There’s a second shop in the Fenix Food Factory on Katendrecht, and you’ll also find Jordy’s sourdough bread being served in some of Rotterdam’s best eateries.
