KINO is a movie theater in the center of Rotterdam with four movie theaters. KINO shows quality films, with a varying range from arthouse to blockbusters, from shorts to classics. In addition to watching a film, you can eat, drink, drink and work from early afternoon to late evening. But the multifunctional space can also be set up for lectures, exhibitions, music performances and festivals.
KINO’s bar and restaurant stands for no-nonsense quality and is most reminiscent of the style of contemporary bistros in Paris and gastropubs in London. The small menu features a monthly changing menu with only seasonal dishes. In addition, a daily special is served.
KINO is located on Gouvernestraat, in the old building of LantarenVenster: a place that has been a gathering place for music, theater and film for over a hundred years.
