Kunsthal Rotterdam is housed in a striking building designed by Rotterdam’s OMA/Rem Koolhaas architectural practice and was opened in 1992. Since then, the Kunsthal has put culture in the widest sense of the word on show, from elitist to popular.
The Kunsthal Café in the building’s basement can serve a cup of coffee, a hearty lunch, afternoon tea, ‘afternoon tea’ with a glass of wine or beer, or just drinks and snacks. It can hold around 500 people. Deals can be arranged for groups, also in the evening, and can include customised catering.
Kunsthal Rotterdam is in Museum Park in the Museumkwartier district. It is a five-minute walk from Leuvehaven metro station and trams 7 and 8 stop nearby. There is an indoor car park at Museum Park.
