At Miniworld Rotterdam – the largest indoor miniature world in the Benelux – visitors are amazed by the mini landscapes, mini residents, mini trains and a mini Rotterdam. The Dutch polder landscapes are interspersed with the Rotterdam port and industrial area and the architecture in the centre.
A whole day in Miniworld lasts just 24 minutes. Then this indoor attraction gets dark and thousands of lights twinkle in the night. As another Miniworld day dawns, the residents awake and Miniworld comes to life again. Trains hasten to their destinations, lorries drive to and fro, work is done and life lived.
Groups of between two and ten people can take behind-the-scenes guided tours in Dutch which last 30 minutes. They get to see places where visitors normally cannot go such as the traffic control room and shadow stations. Guided tours in German and English are also available on request for groups of at least two people.
The Miniworld restaurant sells drinks, snacks and rolls.
Miniworld Rotterdam is in the Central District just five minutes from Rotterdam Central Station by foot. There are two car parks nearby.
