Natural History Museum of Rotterdam

Museum

The Natural History Museum of Rotterdam is situated within Villa Dijkzigt, a national monument built in 1852. In 1995, the museum was extended with a modern glass pavilion. With a collection of more than 400,000 objects, varying from dried plants to fossilised mammoth remains, the museum is one of the largest natural history museums in the Netherlands.

The museum offers a variety of different exhibitions, activities, educational programmes, conducted tours, quests and options for children’s parties.

Een man uit Vlaardingen heeft zijn aquarium leeggedronken en stikte bijna in een pantsermeerval. De verslikvis is vanaf nu te zien in het museum.
