P&O Ferries

P&O Ferries carries passengers and cargo to and from the United Kingdom. P&O has a large fleet of twenty modern ships, an extensive network of routes and destinations and a high frequency of passenger and freight shipping between the European mainland and the United Kingdom.

Rotterdam is port of departure and port of entry for all ships to Hull on England’s East coast. The journey takes between 10 and 11 hours.

P&O´s ships are modern and well equipped to ensure that the journey is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Each ship is equipped with several restaurants, bars and shops, a cinema, a show lounge and several relaxation rooms. There are also special playrooms for younger children.

P&O Ferries sails from and to Europoort. You will find the terminal at harbour no. 5805, which is approximately 37 kilometres from the city centre. To get there by car, take the A15/N15 motorway. Free parking is available at the terminal. You can also get to the terminal by bus, which leaves from Rotterdam Central Station. Tickets must be reserved in advance.

Stena Line

You can travel to Rotterdam from the UK by boat with Stena Line. The ferry crossing from Harwich ends in the port of Hook of Holland. It is then an approximately thirty minute car or train journey to the centre of Rotterdam. Super Ferries offer a range of on-board facilities including bars, restaurants, a lounge, a sun deck, shops, children s play areas, a cinema and a casino. The cabins feature all modern amenities. The crossing can be made either during the day or at night.

Sail from the Erasmus Bridge with the fast ferry or Waterbus to Katendrecht (home of SS Rotterdam), Lloydkwartier (near Euromast) and Heijplaat-RDM Rotterdam in the port area. You can also sail to Dordrecht and the Kinderdijk windmills.
