Stayokay Rotterdam

Hostel, Hotel, Lonely Planet

Stayokay Rotterdam is a hostel with 49 rooms available in Rotterdam’s world-famous Cube Houses. Designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom, these unique houses, a series of cubes elevated on central pillars, were built in 1984. In 2009, a number of them were renovated and converted into a hostel.
Stayokay Rotterdam’s sleek and stylish interiors were designed by a design agency. Every room is different, but all have their own bathroom facilities and free Wi-Fi. Guests can relax and enjoy a bite to eat in the bar-brasserie Bite&Drink or in the lounge. The hostel is located between the Laurenskwartier and the Scheepsvaartkwartier districts, right next to the Oude Haven, a historic inner harbour with numerous restaurants and bars. It is close to Blaak metro and train station, and a number of trams stop just outside the door. Parking is available in the Markthal garage, just a few steps away. It is also possible to rent a bike.
