The Slaak Rotterdam is a five-star hotel. This former printing company of ‘Het Vrije Volk’ (The Free People) has been converted into a design boutique hotel and offers 74 spacious rooms, Restaurant & Bar Didot34, two meeting rooms and a fitness centre called Studio34.
‘Het Slaakhuys’ is one of Rotterdam’s architecture icons and was officially listed as a national reconstruction monument in 2010. The 50s interior is a contrast to the no-nonsense and cubist character of the building’s architecture.
