The Water Bus is the main daily fast ferry service in the Rotterdam-Dordrecht area. There is a stop in Rotterdam’s city centre next to the Spido boat tours at the Erasmus Bridge. The Water Bus sails between Rotterdam and Dordrecht and the Drechtsteden area (Sliedrecht, Zwijndrecht and Papendrecht). The Aqualiner ferry service also departs from the Rotterdam Erasmus Bridge stop. It sails to Katendrecht (SS Rotterdam etc.), the Lloydkwartier (near the Euromast) and Heijplaat-RDM and port area.
The Water Bus Day Ticket includes use of the Water Bus Kinderdijk Special: Water Bus + Driehoeksveer ferry + entry to Kinderdijk (including the Visitors’ Windmill and the Wisboom Pumping Station).
Public transport chip cards (OV chip cards) are valid on board (RET cards included in the Welcome Card are not). Bicycles can be taken free of charge on the Water Bus. Daily tickets can be purchased on board for cash. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for a reduction on the normal ticket price. Groups of up to 30 can travel together but it is not possible to make reservations.
