The 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held from 12 to 16 May 2020 in Rotterdam Ahoy. Thanks to Duncan Laurence’s victory, for two whole weeks the Maasstad will be devoted to the largest music event in the world.
The third wave of ticket sales will follow at the end of March via eurovision.tv for international visitors and via songfestival.nl for Dutch visitors. The specific date will be announced at a later date, so keep an eye on this page for updates. By the way, if you couldn’t get tickets for the Grand Final, May 16, then you are most welcome to come to Nieuwe Luxor Theatre. They are organizing a live screening of the event and booked DJ DiscoRoyaal for the after party.
The theme of the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 is ‘Open Up’. That fits perfectly with the tolerant and open Netherlands and, of course, with Rotterdam. The city is diverse with more than 170 nationalities and open-minded: Rotterdam is third on the list of most LGBTQI-friendly cities in the world.

From 8 to 16 May, the Eurovision Song Contest will be felt throughout the city and will be visible with club nights, concerts, exhibitions and sing-along parties all over the city and of course on the stage of the Eurovision Village at the Binnenrotte, which is free to enter. This is the ultimate venue where artists competing in the Eurovision Song Contest will come together with new talent and established names from the city and all over the country. The Maassilo will be transformed into the Euroclub. The place for the official afterparties of the Songfestival.
