Rotterdam has two major local brewers, Kaapse Brouwers in Katendrecht and Brouwerij Noordt in the Oude Noorden in North Rotterdam. Kaapse Brouwers make new, experimental flavours. You can taste these beers at Kaapse Maria and at the Fenix Food Factory. Brouwerij Noordt ensures that the beers remain as pure as possible and uses as few herbs or other additives as possible. You can taste these beers in the former Roteb building on the river Rotte!
