Although he died young, French-Israeli artist Absalon (1964-1993) had an imposing and acclaimed oeuvre. This one-man retrospective displays a selection of his enigmatic Cellules – wooden living pods painted white – along with preliminary test assemblies for the pieces. The exhibition also includes furniture, drawings, photos and films, reflecting his rage and his yearning for security and safety.
