Maastoren

Architecture

At over 164 meters (including roof structure), the Maastoren is currently one of the tallest buildings in the Netherlands and has 44 floors. During construction, great attention was paid to sustainability. For example, an innovative system of heat and cold storage has been installed that uses the temperature of the Meuse water. 22 different shades of gray were used for the transition from dark to light on the facade.
