De Kuip (Feyenoord stadium)
- Opening hours
The De Kuip Eten en Drinken Restaurant
The De Kuip Eten en Drinken Restaurant is right in the heart of the De Kuip football stadium, the home of Rotterdam’s Feyenoord football club since 1937. The restaurant has a relaxed, Rotterdam ambiance and serves coffees, lunch, drinks and dinner. The cuisine is Dutch-based, with lunchtime favourites including fried eggs and ham on bread and traditional croquettes.
Another typical dish on the De Kuip lunch menu is Vikingrondo, smoked salmon with sweet-and-sour cucumber ribbons. After the salmon is caught in Norway, it is smoked for ten hours with grass from the De Kuip ground which is mown three times a week.
The restaurant is on the first floor of the Maasgebouw building. It can accommodate up to 200 people.
The De Kuip football stadium is a listed city monument which besides football matches is also used for major events and concerts.
The football stadium is in the south of Rotterdam and can be reached from Rotterdam Central Station in about 20 minutes by tram 23. There is ample free parking available next to the stadium (on non-match days).
