Maritime Hotel Rotterdam
- Opening hours
The Maritime Hotel is in the historic Scheepvaartkwartier district right on the Maas river and next to the Erasmus Bridge. The Spido boat tours and the water bus to the Kinderdijk windmills leave from just outside the door.
The three-star hotel was built above Rotterdam’s Zeemanshuis, a listed city monument where sailors could once come to get a decent meal, a bed for the night and a place where they could relax. It is not surprising that the hotel interior has a flavour of the building’s maritime history and features models of ships, old lamps and photographs of the past.
The Maritime Café on the ground floor serves drinks and light meals or snacks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are on offer at The 4 Bridges restaurant on the first floor which boasts an international cuisine. Group menus, including the traditional Captain’s Dinner, are available for 20 people or more, up to a maximum of 110.
Leuvehaven metro station is 250 metres away and tram 7 stops more or less in front of the hotel. Buses can park free of charge on the bus parking site round the corner. Cars can use the adjacent Erasmus Bridge parking garage.
