The Nederlands Fotomuseum is a multi-functional museum that provides insight into all different aspects of photography. Not only does the museum have various exhibition programmes with famous international photographers and young talent, you can also view the digital collection (over 100.000 photographs), relax in the film lounge, or visit the photography library.
The museum organises different activities for all ages such as workshops, lectures en special guided tours. With more than 130 archives of Dutch photographers, the museum possesses a rich overview of 100 years Dutch (photography) history.
Photographs from the museum collection museum are also for sale. The museum shop offers a broad collection of amazing photography books, photographs and cards.
The museum is situated in former warehouse Las Palmas on the Wilhelminapier, one of the most photogenic places at the Maas river. There are many restaurants near the museum (for example Hotel New York, restaurant Las Palmas by Herman den Blijker and HMB Restaurant). The new Luxor theatre and cinema/jazz stage LantarenVenster are at walking distance.

Ten years ago Stezaker made his breakthrough in the international art world with intriguing photocollages. He snips into and cuts up old publicity photos of actors from the thirties, forties and fifties – the period of florescence of the Hollywood film.
