World Port Center

Architecture

One of the first and image-defining new buildings on the Wilhelmina Quay is the World Port Center. The designer is leading British architect Sir Norman Foster, who was previously involved in the master plan for the Wilhelmina Pier. The 124 meters high headquarters for the Port Authority offers a beautiful view over the port of Rotterdam. On the nineteenth floor a disaster coordination center was built.
