Pilgrim beer
The traditionally brewed Pelgrimb beer is made in Stadsbrouwerij De Pelgrim, based on pure Rotterdam water. Hence the nickname 'Liquid gold from Rotterdam'. At the brewery you can learn everything about beer and beer brewing: tasting is of course part of it! A tour is possible for a minimum of eight people.
The brewers are continuously improving and adapting the beers. One-off brews are also regularly available on tap.
History
In 1995, Harry van de Wiel decided to establish the Rotterdam city brewery. The brewery is decorated in the style of the old town hall of Delfshaven, the wood-copper boilers in which brewing takes place are a good example of this. Harry's son has now taken over the helm and continues his father's passion.
