At the Liberation Festival South Holland in Het (Euromast) Park in Rotterdam we celebrate that freedom has been possible in the Netherlands since WWII and we reflect on the lack of freedom in the world. There is something for everyone at the festival with music, art, theatre, a food court, children’s programme and an in-depth programme around the theme “Freedom is passed on”.
The Park at the Euromast was designed around 1850 by the famous Haarlem landscape architects father and son Zochers. These men could paint with nature, they designed the water features, the overhanging willows and the picturesque views to sun-drenched fields.
