Festival TREK

5, 6, 7, 8 May

From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 May, the largest itinerant food festival in the Netherlands will traditionally open the season in Rotterdam. Burgundians from the wider area can enjoy the tastiest street food dishes in the Vroesenpark, which are prepared with love in the most beautiful food trucks. Festival TREK also guarantees a surprising range of entertainment with acts and performances by theater makers, cabaret artists and musical talent from the region. Festival TREK is a free festival and suitable for young and old.

Vroesenpark

Stork looks for its food here

The park was built as early as 1929, directly opposite Diergaarde Blijdorp along the Vroesenlaan. The stork that breeds at Blijdorp Zoo comes here every morning to look for food. The Vroesenpark has large lawns where you can run and play endlessly. You will also find playground equipment and a fishing pond.
