The Hoeksveer is a bicycle-pedestrian ferry from Hoek van Holland to Maasvlakte II. With this ferry you sail through the busiest port in Europe. You can enjoy the passing, impressive ships from all parts of the world. Seals are also regularly seen along the way. During the 50-minute crossing you take a “mini cruise” through the always busy port.
In Hoek van Holland the boat departs from the Berghaven (Stationsweg, cycle junction 94). On the Maasvlakte the stop is at Futureland (Europaweg 902, cycle junction 57). This is the information center of the Port Authority. Here you can find out everything about the port of Rotterdam. Also fun for children to see. The entrance is free.
The Hoeksveer is a link in the (inter)national long-distance cycle paths and recreational cycling and walking routes.
You can sail from March 31 to September. There are catering facilities at both stops.
Sail with us. Welcome aboard.
Tickets are available on board the “Veerwel” or at Tourist Information Hoek van Holland, Stationsweg 11 at Hoek van Holland Haven Metro Station.
