The Tuin van de Vier Windstreken restaurant is in one of Rotterdam’s greenest locations on the edge of the Kralingse Bos wood, looking out over the Kralingse Plas lake. The stately mansion dating from 1867 is in between two historic windmills (built in 1740 and 1886). It was once the residence of the director of a snuff factory and spice mill in Kralingen. The mansion is now a restaurant with a large terrace.
The restaurant has an informal feel and is open for lunch, brunch, afternoon tea, drinks and dinner. The cuisine is international. On Sunday evenings, there is live music in the restaurant free of charge.
The Tuin van de Vier Windstreken restaurant can be reached by car and there are parking facilities in the immediate vicinity. Public transport is a 13-minute walk away.
