De Wasserij is a new fashion hub where innovative fashion professionals meet up, collaborate and exchange knowledge.
The building, a former industrial launderette in the north of Rotterdam, offers studio space to around fifty talented people from the fashion industry, who through their practice want to contribute to a better future. For example, by using local, circular or sustainable materials and production facilities, or by focusing on slow fashion, a timeless style and high quality.
In De Wasserij, they can use a makers’ lab for fashion and textiles, together and with others. De Wasserij also offers space for exhibitions, pop-ups and a public programme about future-oriented fashion.
