With Delibird, owner Wiland Toelen has succeeded in bringing a true piece of Thailand to Rotterdam. In this exquisite restored building at Deliplein (on Katendrecht), he has created a showcase for the everyday things from life in Thailand, and particularly Bangkok. The interior is minimalist, without frills or decor.
What it’s all about is the authentic Thai cuisine on the Delibird menu: the meats, fish and vegetarian dishes, the soups, salads, curries and stir-fries that are purely, unmistakably Thai. Also good to keep in mind is that Delibird’s takeaway counter next door to the restaurant is open seven days a week.
