In addition to a steel supporting structure, the building mainly consists of concrete and glass. In retrospect, this business-like, functional architecture fits in well with Feyenoord's no-words-but-deeds mentality. The stadium was extensively renovated in 1994. De Kuip now has the status of a municipal monument.
Events and concerts
In addition to football matches, major events and concerts are also organized in De Kuip. In 1978, Bob Dylan was the first pop musician to perform there. During the Feyenoord tour, the most special places of De Kuip are visited, such as the players' tunnel and along the line of the field.
