Canal Cruise Europoort provides boat trips from 2 hours through the Europoort and the European ports – one of the largest ports in Rotterdam. Passengers see the wide variety of industries, such as container and ore handling companies, with ships often larger than an average apartment building.
There are also 3-hour boat trips to Maasvlakte 2. With this new area of 2,000 hectares constructed in the sea, the port of Rotterdam is 20% larger than before and accessible for the newest and largest container ships. The boat sails past the largest container terminals such as ECT, Maersk, Euromax and Pioneering Spirit.
Various snacks and drinks are available on board. Groups of 15 or more people can order a lunch buffet in advance. The tours can be followed in Dutch and English, German on request.
