Passengers on the Snerttram (Pea Soup Tram) / the IJsjestram (Ice Cream Tram) can enjoy a bowl of hot pea soup in the winter or a refreshing fruit sorbet in the summer, while taking a round trip through Rotterdam. The guided tour takes one and a half hours. It begins at the Brazzo restaurant in the city’s Crooswijk neighbourhood and takes in historic and present-day sights around the city centre. It also goes past the Feyenoord football stadium, the historic Delfshaven district and the chic Kralingen district. The tour ends up back at Brazzo, where it is possible to round off your experience with dinner.
The Snerttram can be specially booked for groups of up to 54 people. The boarding point and time, and the lunch or dinner menu can be arranged in consultation while making the booking.
In addition, there are regular themed rides, such as the Oliebollentram (Dutch-doughnut Tram), the Halloween Tram, the Cultural Tram (featuring soups of the world), the Love Tram (on Valentine’s Day) and the Stamppottram (Dutch Hotchpotch Tram).
The Snerttram is a winter attraction and runs from October to May. The IJsjestram takes over the trips from May to September.
