The On the Rocks cocktail bar is part of the Mainporthotel Rotterdam, a luxury five-star design hotel opened in 2013. Influences from around the world are to be found in the hotel’s interior decoration. The cocktail bar can hold up to 200 people and has a waterside terrace overlooking the Leuvehaven harbour. The cocktail list includes classics such as the Mojito, the Margarita and the White Russian. Aperitifs and liquors can be enjoyed before and after dining in the Down Under restaurant.
The hotel is in the Maritime District on the border of the Witte de Withkwartier and Scheepvaartkwartier districts. Leuvehaven metro station is right outside and just a five-minute ride from Rotterdam Central Station. There is also a jetty for the water taxi. The capacity of the valet parking is limited but there are two indoor car parks within walking distance.
