De Rotterdam is an architectural icon.
Together, the three interconnected towers stand almost 150-metres tall and form a ‘vertical city’ with luxury flats, a four-star hotel, offices, shops, restaurants, fitness facilities and parking. The building occupies a piece of land the size of a football field and is extremely sustainable. The name refers to the steamship ss Rotterdam, which used to sail to New York and offered a wide range of functions for the comfort of its passengers.
Nhow can also be found in De Rotterdam. A hotel, kitchen and bar with a beautiful view over the river Maas. You can also visit HMB and spoil yourself with the culinary delights.
Visitors can sign up for an Open Tour at De Rotterdam Tours during the weekend: a one-hour tour of De Rotterdam and the transformed Wilhelminapier. An experienced guide will tell you all about the design and construction of De Rotterdam and the area.
