The historic tram line 10 offers a hop on hop off city tour in a classic, renovated tram that dates from the 1930s. The tour route takes in all the touristic hot spots and attractions in the centre of Rotterdam in one hour. You can also hop on or hop off at all the stops along the route to do some sight-seeing. The tram leaves once every 30 minutes from the Willemsplein in the Scheepvaartkwartier close to the Erasmus Bridge and Spido boat tours. Tickets can be purchased inside the tram and they are valid all day. The electronic transport chip card (OV chipkaart) cannot be used for this tour.
Tram line 10 makes the following stops: Willemsplein – Museumpark – Eendrachtsplein – Centraal Station (temporary stop at Weena, opposite Casino) – Blaak – Kunsthal – Euromast – Delfshaven – Museumpark – Willemsplein
The departure terminal at Willemsplein can be reached easily by metro or tram by getting off at the Leuvehaven stop. It is possible to park in the Erasmus car park at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge.
Line 10 runs in July and August from Tuesday to Sunday, in April, May, June and September on Thursday to Sunday.
Besides the regular city tours, line 10 can be booked as a means of transportation for groups between a congress and a dinner location, or for a tailor-made city tour complete with guide. The tram has room for 22 sitting passengers and 18 standing passengers. The tram can be extended if necessary with a matching carriage with room for a further 34 sitting passengers and 16 standing passengers. The route and the pick-up and drop-off points can be specified by mutual agreement
