Loetje has been known for more than 40 years for her tasty steak. First from Café Loetje, a neighborhood and billiard café in Amsterdam Zuid, but now from various restaurants throughout the Netherlands. The tender tenderloin steak is baked ‘medium rare’ as standard and served in its own gravy. Wonderful to dip in white bread. And very tasty with lettuce and French fries. But even if you prefer to eat fish or want a vegetarian meal, there is an extensive menu with different dishes.
The Kop van Zuid is a place where living and working in a special way is combined with museums, cafes and of course Loetje. Loetje is located here in a beautiful location: at the foot of the Rijnhaven Bridge, directly below the residential tower Montevideo. Both inside, in the spacious and attractive restaurant, and outside on the spacious terrace on the water, the view around the beautiful Rotterdam Rijnhaven is fantastic.
