Restaurant Gusto opened its doors on the Schiedamse Vest in januari 2007. It was founded by Alex Verburg, who is also co-owner/chef of restaurant Oliva. His passion for food is reflected in the name Gusto which means taste or passion.
Gusto is a modern Italian restaurant where simplicity and quality are of high importance. The chefs work with ecological and biological ingredients where possible, just like in Oliva. The flavours of these pure products are clearly recognized in the dishes. Everything in Gusto is homemade and prepared with great care.
