Rondvaart Europoort offers 90-minute boat tours of the Europoort and the Europa Harbours, one of Rotterdam’s largest ports. Passengers will see a wide variety of industries, such as container transport and ore shipping, with many ships larger than an average apartment building.
Rondvaart Europoort also offers 2.5-hour cruises to Maasvlakte 2. This newly constructed offshore area of 2,000 hectares has expanded the port of Rotterdam by 20% and made it accessible to the newest and biggest container ships. The boat sails past large container terminals, like ECT, Maersk, Euromax and Pioneering Spirit.
Snacks and drinks are available on board. Groups of 10 and up can order lunch bags in advance. The tours are in Dutch or English, and German by request.
You can rent the boat for parties or company excursions up to a maximum of 800 people, with catering to suit your group. The boat can moor anywhere in the port area.
Rondvaart Europoort is located close to Hoek van Holland at the Maeslantkering, about a 25-minute drive from Rotterdam. On request, passengers can use the shuttle service between the Hoek van Holland Haven metro station and the Maeslantkering.
