The Commons is part of The Student Hotel. It’s a bar, café and restaurant in university cafeteria style. Guests order their dishes, grab their drinks while they wait and then collect their meals when the buzzer goes off. The dishes are simple, like pasta, pizza and fish & chips. Nothing on the menu is over €10.
The Commons has an industrial, Berlin-style interior. It seats a maximum of 100, and can handle groups of up to 60.

The Commons is located in Rotterdam’s student district Kralingen, full of bars, restaurants, shops and cafés. It’s just 15 minutes from the city centre by public transport. Tram lines 21 and 24 take you almost right to the door and the Oostplein metro station is a five-minute walk.
