Neighborhood cooperative Rotterdam North
The Neighborhood Cooperative Rotterdam North (Wijkcoop) is an innovative and experimental residents' initiative, where a social and business way of working are connected. We offer employment to people who are distanced from the labor market, form a home base and network for starting and small entrepreneurs and connect initiatives in the neighborhood. The Wijkcoop is a hybrid organization and operates at the intersection of government, district and market. We strive for maximum public value such as quality of life, employment and social cohesion. We work together with the Municipality of Rotterdam, without being financially dependent.
