Ice skating in Rotterdam

Frost or not, you can dust off your ice skates in Rotterdam this winter. There are two ice rinks open until the end of the spring break.

Schaatsbaan Rotterdam

Come and skate on this unique ice rink in Rotterdam this winter. The ice rink has a 400-metre tunnel and a 1600 m2 racetrack with rainbow lighting. When the winter weather permits, the sides of the tunnel cover are opened which means you have the experience of outdoor ice skating with the advantages of indoor skating. This season there is also a curling rink next to the Fun Rink!

Plaswijckpark Schaatsbaan

Because Plaswijckpark celebrates its 95th anniversary this year, a covered ice rink has been set up in the park. Children can ice skate together with their parents and grandparents on 500 m2 of real ice. If you don’t have your own ice skates, you can borrow them (for free) at Plaswijckpark. Only figure and ice hockey skates are allowed and gloves are mandatory. The ice rink is accessible to skaters every Friday and Saturday!
