At the South Holland Liberation Festival in Het (Euromast) Park in Rotterdam we celebrate that people have been able to live in freedom in the Netherlands since WWII and we reflect on lack of freedom in the world. There is something for everyone at the festival with music, art, theater, a food court, children’s program and an in-depth program around the theme “Freedom is passed on”.
The Park at the Euromast was designed around 1850 by the famous Haarlem landscape architects father and son Zochers. These men could paint with nature, they designed the water features, the overhanging willows and the picturesque views to sun-drenched fields.
